Edith Layton, an award-winning romance author, wrote her first novel when she was ten. She currently has more than thirty novels and numerous novellas in print. Publisher’s weekly called Edith Layton “one of romance’s most gifted writers.” She received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Romantic Times, and excellent reviews and awards and commendations from Library Journal, Romance Readers Anonymous and The Romance Writers of America.
Edith Layton graduated from Hunter College in New York City with a degree in Creative Writing and Theater. She is married with three children and lives on Long Island where she devotes time as a volunteer for the North Shore Animal League, the world’s largest no-kill pet rescue and adoption organization. Her dog, Daisy, adopted from the shelter, is just one member of Layton’s household menagerie.
When I think of a reading a good regency romance, I usually will look to see what there is on Edith Layton’s booklist that I have not read. The list is now extremely short. Every one of her books is a delight. I thoroughly enjoyed her latest “For the Love of a Pirate” and the 5 Star review can be read under the Book Review Section here on Beverly Romance Books. ~ Beverly
